Maleficent/Snow White Shoot

Today I was a makeup artist on photo-shoot today, the photographer asked me to do a maleficent look for her image she was wanting to achieve.

These are some images I took on shoot while I wait for the final edited images.

she mentioned she is going to edit in the hair piece. the photographer only took pictures from the shoulders upwards. she cooperated into the pictures an apple and a mirror. this brought the mix of snow white into the images.

I really enjoyed myself today on set and cant wait to do more.

I will put edited images on once I receive.

Work Experience

Today I and Emma worked as a team to teach children between the ages 11-19 a little bit about makeup. We showed them how to achieve a new bruise, the group really enjoyed this and there was a great atmosphere in the room. Secondly we went on and showed them the tricks of the old bruise; I feel they really enjoyed learning and trying out the bruise wheels and colours. Practicing on each other as well as the helpers that supervised them.

Lastly we went onto showing them cuts, using wax and bruise gel (as the fake blood). Once we had shown them what to do they all had a go and enjoyed experimenting and placing them on their partner’s faces and hands.

Overall I feel the day went really well. I noticed the children as well as the adults enjoyed this and me and Emma worked really well together within the group.

I really enjoyed this work experience and I would do it again.

Here are some of the images from the group that worked really hard and achieved a good end result!

Zombie Work Experience

I helped my cousin with her project today; I created zombies for her photography work.

I did the makeup on me and another girl who came for the photographs. I darken around the eyes, paled the face and put blood around the mouth. The outfit I chose for this photo shoot was a ripped up t-shirt with blood over it.
