Today I helped out at a charity fashion catwalk, I didn’t no what to expect for this job so I took my whole kit so I know I had everything, just in case. we had to do basic hair as well as the makeup. there were a few models that all needed doing, the head makeup artist told us what makeup design we needed to do and what type of hair style.
We did a dark blue eyes and red lips, with a messy style hair.
I enjoyed this experience within the catwalk industry, and I would do it all again.
My Mum and her work friends went to go see the show Rocky Horror that has been touring and came to Leeds. As the well known show is so popular and is known for the audience to dress up they asked me to do their makeup. I felt delighted they had asked me, this was a new challenge.
I played around with different colours and shades for the lips, here are a few of my ideas:
Here I lined the lip with black eye liner, coloured the lip with a lipstick and on some I blending together with a gloss.
I bought some very over the top, feathery, colourful, interesting false eyelashes for them all to finish their look off for them. some had them others just has a thick black lash on.
I really enjoyed doing this party and they seemed to enjoy it too. I do also love the effort of their outfit too!! 🙂
